Physician Information on Diagnostic Pulmonary Function Testing Services

Scarborough North Pulmonary Function is an OHIP Licensed Independent Health Facility. We have been providing diagnostic pulmonary testing services to physicians for over 20 years, serving Scarborough, Agincourt, Malvern and the eastern GTA.

Our reports are single sided, single page, in an easy to read format with numerical and graphic data. If you have an urgent request we will try to accommodate your request.

SNPF offers physicians:

Testing for Spirometry,
Flow volume loops, lung volumes & diffusion and oximetry.
For Pediatric testing, children must over 6 years of age
Ethnic PFT corrections for African Americans, Asians, Caucasians and Latinos.
Gratis Oxygen Saturation for Airline Medical Clearance Certificates Forms.
Quick turn around times on lung test reports
For your patients we offer convenient booking times and free parking.
Your patients can also have their X-rays, blood work, ECG, Holters, and Loop Recorders done at the same time. 4040 Finch is a full service medical building that includes Medical Lab, Diagnostic Imaging & Ultrasound, all located on the same floor.
Unfortunately we are unable to do methacholine challenge testing.

How to book a PFT (Pulmonary Function) test

You can use your prescription pad, the white OHIP lab requisition form or print out our SNPF pulmonary function test requisition from this page to order our tests.

Using our pulmonary function test requisition form:

A) Saves your office time. It is recommended that you give the patient our requisition form so they can call and book a test at their convenience. Please include OHIP billing number.

B) Have your office staff book the test with our receptionist. Speak to a real person not an answering machine
